What should your landing page say?

Give your visitors the information they need to take the next step.

A landing page has a practical job: help someone understand your offer and decide whether to take the next step. Start by answering the questions a new customer would ask.

Who is this for?

Be specific about the customer or situation you can help with. Use language your customers use when describing the problem.

What are you offering?

Explain the service, what it includes and how the process works. Put the essential information near the start so readers do not need to search for it.

Why should someone trust you?

Use evidence you can support, such as relevant work, qualifications or approved client feedback. Explain what the evidence shows without promising the same outcome for every customer.

What happens next?

Make the action clear. Tell visitors what happens after an enquiry, what information you need and how they can contact you.

Read it on a phone

Check whether the page is easy to scan, the text is comfortable to read and the form is manageable on a small screen. Ask someone unfamiliar with your business to explain the offer back to you.
